You know investing matters. Starting is the hard part.

If you're new to this, it can feel like everyone else got a manual you never received.

Too many platformsWords nobody explainsNo finance backgroundWorried about doing it wrong

So it gets pushed to "someday." That's normal, and it's fixable. You're not late. You're just getting started, and the first step is smaller than you think.

Terry M. Lee, creator of the Auto-Investing Starter Kit
Why I made this

I studied computer science, but real life had other plans. When I became guardian of my niece, I had to learn how to manage money for both of us, fast. Then I started helping other family members too. Multiple accounts. Different goals. Real responsibility.

Keeping up by memory turned into stress. So I automated it, and that changed everything. Good investing shouldn't depend on memory, perfect timing, or constant effort.

This kit is what I wish I'd had at the start: the plain-English explanation, and a place to actually do the work.

What could $50 a month become?

This is a tiny taste of the Auto-Investing Plan Builder. Slide it and watch.

$50 a month · 20 years · 6% illustrative assumption, not a forecast Hypothetical
$23,102

You'd have put in $12,000. The rest, $11,102, would be hypothetical compound growth, not a guaranteed return.

Assumes the same return every year and monthly compounding, with no fees, taxes, or inflation. Real returns vary, and you can lose money.

Plan before you open an account

Four decisions to learn about

You'll make each one inside the kit, in order, before you ever click "sign up."

Your goal and timelineMoney you may need soon is often kept in savings, because investments can go down in value. Longer timelines may allow more time for market changes.
Your account typeRoth, Traditional, regular brokerage, or custodial, and why it matters for taxes.
Your platform fitMinimums, fees, features, and support. These are comparison criteria, not a recommendation.
Your monthly numberA real amount from your real budget, set to happen automatically.

Questions

Is this really for complete beginners?

Yes. It was written for people starting from zero. Every term is explained the first time it's used, and nothing assumes a finance background.

How much money do I need to start?

Some platforms let you start with very little, and the guide shows you how to check minimums yourself. The whole kit is built around starting with $50 a month.

What exactly do I get, and how do I get in?

The ebook (digital and print PDFs) plus your own login to all 7 Starter Kit tools. After checkout, your login link arrives by email, using the email you bought with. Your progress saves to your account, and you can download your plan as a PDF anytime.

Will you tell me which platform to use?

No. The kit teaches you how to compare platforms on the four things that matter, so you can choose what fits you. Robo-advisors are the tools that do the auto-investing for you. The guide mentions specific platforms as examples, and some links are affiliate links (see the disclosure below).

How long does it take?

Most people can read a chapter and finish its tool in one sitting. Go at your own pace; your answers save as you go.

Is this financial advice?

No. It's education. It explains how auto-investing works and helps you think through your own decisions. For advice about your specific situation, talk with a licensed professional.
